The international competition Madrid Diseña called for a number of pieces of urban furniture to replace Madrid's aging urban furniture infrastructure. Our materials-based approach was based on proposing a single material -recycled tyre rubber- that could generate all the different types of useful objects that the competition brief requested. The trash receptacle was awarded first prize.
