Washington Street is one of the main thoroughfares in downtown Providence. It is a

harsh, decaying street, with underdimensioned sidewalks and empty buildings. Our

proposal was to introduce large scale graphics, a soft transformation with printed

surfaces that could be updated frequently. The iconography reflected the idiosyncrases

of the neighborhood.
